PURCELL — The Oklahoma Transportation Commission on Tuesday awarded a $36 million contract to build a new four-lane bridge to replace the patchwork, two-lane US-77 bridge that links Purcell and Lexington.
Construction is expected to begin in about a month and take about two years to complete.
